Welcome to Hegnslund
Hegnslund is an old cottage in Klampenborg, which is only 25 minutes drive north of Copenhagen. The house is located in beautiful surroundings, only 2 minutes walk from the sea, Øresund and just outside ‘Dyrehaven’ where the danish kings used to hunt deers.
Hegnslund was built in 1914 by the director Frederik Hegel. He built the wooden house inspired by irish architecture to his irish-born wife Kathleen, for her to feel less home sick.
Today Hegnslund is owned by The Danish Nature Agency which is part of the Ministry of Environment & Food. The building is leased out to the company Hegnslund Aps, who is a renting out the house to private persons and businesses for banquets, meetings, receptions and parties etc.
You can rent Hegnslund for business meetings, private parties, banquets, private dinning or other events for max. 70 persons. When choosing Hegnslund for your event, you will get access to a unique old charming house with a beautiful decorated dining room, a smaller room with comfortable chairs, a small meeting room, and a bar and sitting area is also at your disposal. Furthermore you and your guests also have access to our terrace and garden – and you have it all to yourself, as we only host one event at the time.
You can rent the house ‘cold’, meaning with no service included and then plan and arrange everything yourself. Or you are welcome to reach out to us and hear what full service arrangements we can offer.
Please have a look under the section ‘Galleri’ where you can see pictures and get a flavour of what Hegnslund is and how it can look. Please also check out the ‘Virtuel Rundtur‘ which allows you to take a virtuel tour of the house in 3d.
If you want to know more about Hegnslund and what we can do, you are more than welcome to call us on +45 21 76 68 04 or send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
We are looking forward to hear from you /
